Paul Curran
Paul F Curran is the founder and Managing Director at BQ Energy a renewable energy development firm that specializes in siting wind and solar projects on landfills and brownfield sites. Previously, Paul had served as a Managing Director at SunEdison, a leading worldwide solar energy development company, as well as Chief Development Officer at Axio Power and Apex Wind. Paul and his colleagues have lead the development of several renewable energy projects on brownfields and industrial sites, including the Steel Winds facility, the Greenfield Solar Farm and others. Projects developed by Paul and his colleagues have received awards and recognition by the US EPA, and several worldwide publications for the sustainable redevelopment of brownfield sites as well as the innovative development practices in the renewable energy industry. Prior to founding a successful renewable energy development company in 2002, Paul worked in the conventional energy industry for over 20 years with Texaco and Chevron. In that capacity, he and his colleagues have developed cogeneration, and renewable energy projects in many US States and in Europe. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of New York. Paul holds an MBA from Marist College and degrees in Engineering from Columbia University.
James Falsetti
James S. Falsetti is a Director at BQ Energy involved in project development, technical management and supplier negotiations. Jim has over 25 years of experience with in the energy industries. He has held executive level positions in both Texaco and Shell and has been the overall executive director of several completed projects, with project values greater than $200 Million. Jim holds an MBA degree from Columbia University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from SUNY Buffalo. In addition to his work with BQ Energy, Jim is a frequent instructor on energy matters especially on new technologies. Mr. Falsetti is a native of the Buffalo, NY area.
Tim Ryan
 
Timothy M Ryan is a director at BQ Energy involved in project financial matters, permitting, and equipment selection. Tim has over 25 years of experience with project finance matters and project development. In addition to his finance background, Tim has extensive experience in the fields of solar energy, wind energy, offshore wind, energy storage and others. He has held executive level positions with Apex Wind, Axio Power, GE Credit, Mitsubishi Bank, Manufacturers Hanover and other financial institutions. Tim has also served as a principal in the Arcadia Windpower development group where he lead the development efforts of several projects, both onshore and offshore. Tim holds an MBA degree from New York University and a BA in economics from Bowdoin College.
Bill Jordan
 
Bill Jordan is a Director at BQ Energy. Bill leads development efforts on several BQ Energy solar projects and has oversight responsibility for permitting and partnership relationship matters. Bill has worked in the areas of sustainability and renewable energy for 25 years, most recently founding and managing Jordan Energy. He has served as a Project Developer for Sun Edison and Axio Power, positions which included developing the Greenfield Solar Farm, and winning five additional bids for solar developments on landfills over a 12 month period. On the philanthropic side, Bill and his wife, Nancy Brennan-Jordan, Co-Founded the Let’s Share the Sun Foundation, with the objective of helping install solar in poorer parts of the world, with installations completed and pending in Haiti and Honduras. Bill has an MPS degree in economics from Cornell University and a BA in Government and International Studies from the University of Notre Dame.
Michalyn Curran
Michalyn Curran is an Analyst at BQ Energy focusing on accounting, procurement, records management, and overseeing the bookkeeping for the company and all project affiliates. In the past, Michalyn has written successful proposals on various projects worth more than fifty million dollars for BQ Energy and it’s affiliates. She has studied oversees and is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Arts degree from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Michael McNulty
Michael McNulty is a Project Engineer at BQ Energy. He is a recent graduate of the State University of New York at Cortland, obtaining his masters degree in Sustainable Energy Systems and also holds a BA in History and Political Science from SUNY Cortland, where he was a double major. Michael has been in the construction industry since he was a teenager, working for the family company JT Services and Repairs, Inc. through high school and college. He has also worked as a mechanical engineer for Haefely Hipotronics, where he redesigned manufacturing processes that improved efficiency and replicability.
Keith Christensen Keith Christensen is a Project Manager at BQ Energy. He  has 15 years experience in renewable energy sales, marketing, market development, project management and project development.  His work includes selling and project managing hundreds of residential solar systems and scores of commercial and municipal projects for wind and solar companies.  He facilitated the development and finance of commercial wind farms in NJ, and led a municipal wind buyers group that provided funding for 100’s of MW’s of wind farms.  Keith has a BS in Business Management from Binghamton University.
Michael Rauch Michael ​Rauch is a project management and business development professional with more than a decade of experience in renewable energy and public policy. His experience includes development of utility-scale wind energy projects, financing commercial solar energy projects, and developing community energy savings initiatives. He currently works as a consultant in the energy sector with a focus on distributed generation, community choice aggregation (CCA), and municipal energy policy. Michael earned a Masters of Public Administration from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University and a Bachelors of Science from the School of Natural Resources at the University of Vermont.
